High Throughput Panels
Gnome Sciences offers standard panels with a smaller number of genes/mutations for your population screens. Common genes for these are APOE, and the genes associated with Early Onset Alzheimer’s Disease: APP, PSEN1 and PSEN2.
Deeper SNP Genotyping

Gnome Sciences can extract DNA or RNA from FFPE biospecimens, blood, swabs, and many other sample types. Samples can be analyzed in parallel for SNP variants, Copy Number Variation, DNA Methylation sites, Gene/Exon expression, and more.

Custom Gene Panels
We work with you (and the scientific literature) to develop the assays you need to study SNP variants across patient/biospecimen samples or to distinguish among disease candidates. Every SNP genotyping, PCR, or gene expression assay is validated by our own scientists in our CLIA lab.
Gene Therapy Analysis
Performing gene therapy studies in cells, animals, or humans? Gnome Sciences can verify constructs and sequence integrity, measure copy number and gene expression levels, and more. We also provide single cell nucleic acid analyses (LCM) and molecular pathology (Immunohistochemistry and microscopy).
Epigenetics
DNA methylation changes are associated with many neurodegenerative diseases. Gnome Sciences genotypes specific methylation sites in your genes of interest within or among tissue samples (extracts, FFPE, etc.) or in single cell analyses (LCM from FFPE biospecimens).
